What does it do?

This is the point at which the manufacturer can create the exact composition of the desired element for its alloy. The exact composition depends on the desired density, conductivity, electrical resistance and other properties.

forming

The molten steel mixture at this time is formed into a shape. Depending on the end use of the steel, these can be cubes, blanks, slabs, rods or other shapes.

Two types of rolling can occur during the manufacturing process: hot rolling or cold rolling. Hot rolling is carried out at a temperature higher than the solidification of the steel.

Carbon removal

Cutting
